Dani Ceballos has revealed that he still has not been contacted by Real Madrid to discuss a potential new deal.
The midfielder's existing terms are due to expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will leave the reigning Spanish and European champions on a free transfer this summer.
Ceballos has been a regular for Los Blancos this season, featuring on 31 occasions in all competitions, contributing one goal and six assists in the process.
Real Madrid are thought to be open to signing the 26-year-old to a new deal, but Ceballos has revealed that he is yet to be contacted by his current side to discuss extending his stay at Bernabeu.

"I didn't have any contact with Real Madrid to discuss a new deal," he told Marca. "Yes, other clubs approached me, but I'm only focused on the present.
"I want to stay. But I want to deserve the new deal, be happy, play. Otherwise, thanks a lot and I'll leave."
Ceballos, who has played 19 times in La Liga this season, is currently with the Spain squad preparing for their upcoming internationals against Norway and Scotland.
The midfielder has not played for La Roja since 2020, but he is one of a number of changes to the squad following the 2022 World Cup, with Luis de la Fuente replacing Luis Enrique at the helm.

"I won't get involved in that, the club knows very well what I think," Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti recently told reporters when asked about a potential new deal for Ceballos.
The Spaniard arrived at Real Madrid from Real Betis in 2017, but he spent the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns on loan at Arsenal in the Premier League.
In total, Ceballos has featured on 105 occasions for Los Blancos in all competitions, contributing six goals and nine assists in the process.
The midfielder's last league start for Real Madrid came against Atletico Madrid on February 25, featuring off the bench in the recent games with Real Betis, Espanyol and Barcelona.
Meanwhile, he was also a late substitute in the second leg of Real Madrid's last-16 Champions League clash with Liverpool on March 15.
