Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered Real Madrid the chance to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
Los Blancos are concerned about the lack of quality alternatives to Casemiro for the holding midfield role within the squad, and super-agent Mendes believes that his client Neves is the perfect solution.
Mendes feels that the 22-year-old would represent excellent long-term value for a fee of €50m (£43.1m) but added that the inclusion of an unwanted squad player could reduce the price, according to Don Balon.
Alternatives that the La Liga giants had already been considering include Borussia Dortmund's Julian Weigl and Napoli's Fabian.
However, both of those players are unlikely to be available until summer, whereas Mendes believes that he can get a deal done for Neves in January.
