Real Madrid are reportedly considering activating the £94m clause in Lautaro Martinez's Inter Milan contract.
The 22-year-old, who has scored 16 times in 27 appearances for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, is thought to be a leading target for Barcelona ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Indeed, the Spanish champions allegedly view the Argentina international as their number one choice to replace Luis Suarez at Camp Nou.
However, according to TyC Sports, Madrid are also admirers of the South American and are considering making a £94m move at the end of the current season.
Manchester United have also previously been credited with an interest in Martinez, who has managed 25 goals in 63 appearances for Antonio Conte's side in all competitions.
Madrid signed Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer to provide competition for Karim Benzema, but the 22-year-old has only scored twice in 23 appearances for Zinedine Zidane's side.
