Report: Real Madrid eye Wilfried Bony

Real Madrid join Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to sign Swansea striker Wilfried Bony, according to reports.

Real Madrid have reportedly joined Manchester City and Chelsea in the race to sign Swansea City hitman Wilfried Bony.

Speculation has mounted in recent days that the Premier League giants are keen on the 26-year-old this month, with City boss Manuel Pellegrini recently dismissing the reports.

However, the Blancos want him to provide added competition for first-choice striker Karim Benzema, and are weighing up a £25m winter move, according to the Daily Mail.

The Ivory Coast marksman will join up with his international teammates ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations and could miss up to a month of domestic football.

Bony, whose contract expires in 2018, netted more times than any other Premier League player in 2014, having struck 18 times for the Swans last year.
