Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer has denied that the German club are interested in signing Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
It had been reported that Bayern were preparing a big-money move for the Spaniard, who is currently locked in contract talks with Los Blancos.
However, Sammer has insisted that talk of a move is pure speculation.
"If the rumours from Spain were true this club would consist of four teams," Sammer told Sky Sports News.
"Ramos has a long contract [to summer 2017] and is a piece of the club, so what is said about him and us is pure speculation."
The centre-back has been in excellent form for Madrid this season.
