Real Madrid have reportedly agreed terms with Federico Valverde over a new five-year contract.
Despite beginning the campaign out of favour at the Bernabeu, Valverde is now regarded as a first-team regular by Zinedine Zidane.
The 21-year-old has made 13 appearances in all competitions this season, which has seemingly led to Los Blancos making an attempt to secure his long-term future.
According to Marca, the Uruguayan has accepted Real's offer to extend his deal until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
The report adds that a release clause of €750m (£639.30m) has been included in the contract.
