Dani Ceballos allegedly has no desire to leave Real Madrid this summer and will stay with the club for the 2024-25 campaign.

Dani Ceballos reportedly has no desire to leave Real Madrid this summer, while the Spanish and European champions are not intending on sanctioning his exit late in the transfer window.

The 28-year-old's future has been the subject of speculation this summer, with a number of clubs believed to have made their interest in the midfielder known.

However, according to Marca, Ceballos will not be on the move before the market closes, as neither the player nor the club want to part ways over the next couple of weeks.

The report claims that the midfielder is confident that he will be regularly involved with the first team this season despite not being considered to be a starter by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Ceballos 'set to stay at Real Madrid'

Ceballos was a late substitute in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night, featuring for the final moments of Real Madrid's 2-0 victory over Atalanta BC in the competition.

The midfielder made 27 appearances for Los Blancos last term, meanwhile, scoring once and providing two assists, including 20 outings in Spain's top flight.

Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Luka Modric and Eduardo Camavinga are all ahead of Ceballos in the pecking order when it comes to the spots in midfield.

Camavinga is out until next month with a knee problem, though, so there could potentially be some minutes on offer for Ceballos in the early stages of the new La Liga campaign.

The Spaniard has a contract at Bernabeu until June 2027, meanwhile, and he has made 148 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, scoring seven goals and registering 14 assists in the process.

Are Real Madrid right to keep Ceballos?

Ceballos has proven himself to be a dependable squad player for Real Madrid, and due to the volume of matches in the new campaign, it is likely that he will continue to receive regular action.

It is not a shock that the midfielder is happy to remain at Bernabeu considering that Los Blancos are the favourites to win La Liga and the Champions League once again this term.

Another midfield injury could open the door for Ceballos to be a regular starter, meanwhile, and he is seemingly more than content with his role in the Spanish capital.

Ceballos is currently with the Real Madrid squad preparing for Sunday's La Liga opener against Mallorca, where he is again set to be among the substitutes for the first whistle.
