Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has described midfielder James Ward-Prowse as the perfect role model at the club.
Ward-Prowse has featured regularly for the Saints this season, and Pochettino has praised the 18-year-old's work-rate and commitment at St Mary's Stadium.
The 41-year-old told Sky Sports News: "James Ward-Prowse is basically an example of the player that we are promoting, the player we want to have in this club.
"In every training session, he gives 100%. He always has an immediate impact in what he does and he is still a player who is growing. He is a figurehead of the sort of player that we are looking for at Southampton."
The England Under-21 international came off the bench last weekend to help Southampton to a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
