Italian duo keen on Southampton's Gaston Ramirez?

A report says that Southampton are holding talks with Inter Milan and Fiorentina over a loan move for Gaston Ramirez.

Southampton have reportedly opened up talks with two Serie A clubs regarding the departure of Gaston Ramirez.

The attacking midfielder is thought to have told the club that he is keen to leave next month in a bid to secure regular football ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

As a result, the Saints have started negotiations with both Inter Milan and Fiorentina, according to talkSPORT's Italian sources.

However, the report went on to claim that Southampton will only allow the 23-year-old to leave the St Mary's Stadium on a loan basis.

Uruguayan international Ramirez joined Southampton from Bologna for £12m last year.
