Didier Deschamps: 'Hugo Lloris out of action for two weeks'

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be out for around two weeks with a groin injury, according to France head coach Didier Deschamps.

France head coach Didier Deschamps has claimed that captain Hugo Lloris will be out of action for around two weeks with a groin injury.

The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper picked up the knock following a collision with Sergio Ramos in the 3-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

As a result, Lloris is out of the France squad for the fixtures against Wales on November 10 and against Germany four days later.

In addition, the 30-year-old is expected to miss Tottenham's game against Premier League basement side Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Deschamps is quoted by L'Equipe as saying: "He has undergone tests this morning, he'll be out for at least a fortnight."

Spurs are third in the Premier League table ahead of the weekend fixtures.
