Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Harry Kane is nearing a return to training following his ankle injury.
Kane has been sidelined since last month's 1-0 victory over Sunderland after damaging his ankle ligaments.
The England international is expected to remain out until at least next month, but Pochettino is pleased with the progress Kane is making in his recovery.
"At the end of this week, maybe he can start to train and touch the grass a little bit. He's very positive, he's doing well," Pochettino told reporters.
"We hope that next week he'll be training on the grass, on the pitch - still not with the group - but we're happy in the way he is recovering from his injury."
Kane could return in time for the North London derby against Arsenal on November 6.
