Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Lyon defender Emanuel Mammana following his swift transition to European football.
The 20-year-old Argentina international only made a switch to the Ligue 1 side during the summer after spending his senior career to date with River Plate.
Mammana, also linked with Chelsea earlier this year, could now be on his way to White Hart Lane as Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big fan of the youngster.
According to The Sun, Spurs may be tempted to trigger the £9m release clause written into the three-year contract signed by Mammana just a few months ago.
However, it is claimed that a number of other clubs in Spain and Italy are also monitoring the centre-back, whose only senior cap for Argentina to date came in a 2-0 win over Slovenia in June 2014.
