Ben Davies has described his move to Tottenham Hotspur as a "massive challenge".
The former Swansea City defender moved to Spurs alongside teammate Michel Vorm on Wednesday in a deal that saw Gylfi Sigurdsson head the other way.
Speaking to Swansea's official website, the Welsh defender said: "Moving to Spurs is a massive footballing challenge for me again, but I'm looking forward to it.
"They were the ones chasing me from the beginning and I want to repay the faith they have shown in me by doing well for them and continuing to improve as a player.
"I'm a local lad that has come through the ranks, which is what the Academy system is all about. Now I'm sure the chairman and manager will use the funds to strengthen the squad and I know they'll make the right decisions in the interests of the team, club and fans."
Davies has moved for a reported £10m.
