Tim Sherwood hopes to end Premier League season with a win

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood says that he is keen to finish the season with a win.

Tim Sherwood has said that he wants Tottenham Hotspur to finish their Premier League season with a win when they play Aston Villa this weekend.

Spurs, who can secure a Europa League place with a win, face Villa at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the manager said: "On their day, Villa are a very good side and away from home, they are even better. They are a threat and we have to be aware of that.

"I'd expect us to have a lot of the ball. We have to make sure we apply ourselves correctly and get what we need, and that's a win. It's always good to win your last game and to send the fans home with a positive result."

Sherwood will reportedly be replaced at the end of the season.
