Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and La Liga champions Barcelona will square off in the group stages of the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have been drawn to meet each other in the group stages of the Champions League.

Spurs only qualified for the competition on the final day of last year's Premier League campaign, but Mauricio Pochettino's side have been handed one of the toughest possible tests in the form of La Liga champions Barcelona.

Life has not been made easier for either side in Group B, with Inter Milan also being included from pot four after the Italian side made their long-awaited return to the competition with a fourth-place finish in Serie A

Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven also feature, with the consolation for all four clubs that they will not have any long-distance travelling to do before Christmas.

The first matchday will take place on September 18 and 19.
