Team News: Jan Vertonghen returns for Tottenham Hotspur

Jan Vertonghen returns to the Tottenham Hotspur team for Saturday's Premier League clash against Huddersfield Town.

Jan Vertonghen has returned to the Tottenham Hotspur team for Saturday's Premier League clash against Huddersfield Town.

An ankle problem had been keeping the Belgian on the sidelines, but he is back in the Tottenham XI here. Fellow centre-back Toby Alderweireld though remains on the treatment table with a hamstring problem.

Serge Aurier is handed the right-back position, while Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen all start for Mauricio Pochettino's side at Wembley.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, are unchanged from the team that recorded a 2-1 win away to West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

As a result, Steve Mounie will once again lead the line with support from Alex Pritchard.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane
Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Rose, Wanyama, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas

Huddersfield Town: Lossl; Kongolo, Schindler, Jorgensen, Hadergjonaj; Quaner, Hogg, Williams, Van La Parra; Pritchard; Mounie
Subs: Green, Smith, Malone, Billing, Lowe, Depoitre, Ince
