James Tarkowski is reportedly interested in joining West Ham United in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Burnley central defender has been linked with several clubs throughout the season, including both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United as he is yet to sign a contract extension with the Clarets.
Tarkowski's current deal expires in the summer, which means he could leave for free at the end of the season, but he is interested in moving on before that.
The Hammers is his preferred destination according to The Evening Standard, with this being the club that he would like to play for and he is keen for a deal to take place in January.
David Moyes's team currently find themselves in third place in the Premier League, while Burnley are occupying one of the three relegation places, in 18th.
