Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho 'won't spend big in January'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly unlikely to spend a significant amount of money on new players during the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is considered unlikely to spend big money on new players during the January window.

Since the Portuguese's arrival last month, speculation has persisted regarding potential arrivals at the North London outfit.

However, the Daily Mail claims that the 56-year-old is unlikely to splash significant amounts of money until the summer.

The report adds that Mourinho remains keen on adding a new right-back to his squad, with Norwich City's Max Aarons and West Bromwich Albion's Nathan Ferguson said to be on his radar.

Due to just over six months remaining on his contract at West Bromwich Albion, Ferguson would appear to be the more likely of the two to make a mid-season switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
