Real Madrid have reportedly identified Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar as the ideal player to boost their defence ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
Los Blancos have signed David Alaba on a free transfer, but Sergio Ramos has left the Bernabeu, while Raphael Varane continues to be strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Carlo Ancelotti's side have identified Skriniar as the perfect replacement for Varane, who appears to be on the verge of moving on.
Tottenham Hotspur have also recently been credited with an interest in the Slovakia international, who scored three times in 39 appearances for the Italian champions last season.
Inter are under pressure to sell some of their key players this summer due to their financial issues, but it is alleged that the San Siro giants would still demand €60m (£51.5m) for Skriniar.
The defender - also thought to be admired by Manchester City - has two years left to run on his contract with Inter.
