Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale could be the subject of strong interest from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The 23-year-old has continued to impress for Spurs and Wales and, according to AS, he has become Madrid's top transfer priority, while The Mirror reports that manager Jose Mourinho has already discussed his interest in Bale with club president Florentino Perez.
Bale has a contract at White Hart Lane until 2016 but it is unknown whether Spurs would be able to reject a fee which would be expected to be in excess of £30m.
Another factor that could influence a possible move is the recent birth of Bale's first child.
