Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that he is interested in signing midfield duo Jake Livermore and Mohamed Diame.
Redknapp worked with Livermore during his time in charge at Tottenham Hotspur, and a £3.5m release clause in Diame's contract could tempt him into making a move for the West Ham United midfielder.
The 65-year-old insisted that he is in regular contact with the club's owners over potential signings, with Livermore and Diame top of his list.
"Jake's a good player. I have bags of time for him and if Spurs want to do anything it would interest me," Redknapp is quoted as saying in the London Evening Standard.
"Diame's a good player, too. I'd love to have him here but he belongs to West Ham until they decide if they want to sell him.
"I speak to [the QPR board] every day about who I want, we go through the list and see if there is anyone we can find. We will come up with one or two before too long. Getting out of trouble will be almost as good as winning something with the position we're in. It's better than sitting in mid-table and seeing the season out."
QPR are now just five points from safety in the Premier League following their shock 1-0 win over Chelsea on Wednesday.
