Ajax are interested in re-signing defender Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.
The Belgium international spent four years in the Dutch giants' academy setup and five years as part of the senior squad.
Alderweireld is now into his sixth campaign with Tottenham, having also represented Southampton in the Premier League, but he is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
Sport Witness claims that Ajax are ready to move for Alderweireld, despite the 32-year-old winning back his place in the Spurs side since Jose Mourinho left.
Belgian outfit Club Brugge have also previously been linked with the centre-back, but he is said to have knocked back their advances.
Fellow Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez, another former Ajax product, is also believed to be on the Eredivisie side's radar.
