Report: Liverpool target Divock Origi to meet Tottenham Hotspur officials

Divock Origi will reportedly meet with Tottenham Hotspur officials today, despite widespread claims that the Lille forward is closing in on a move to Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly attempting to disrupt Liverpool's move for Belgium striker Divock Origi.

The 19-year-old has been widely expected to leave Lille for Anfield this summer after impressing for Belgium at the World Cup in Brazil.

Despite reports that the Merseyside outfit are closing in on a deal for the forward, it is believed that Spurs are also interested in the player.

According to The Express, Origi, who is said to have agreed personal terms with Liverpool, will meet with officials from the North London club today.

While Tottenham have reportedly expressed an interest, Liverpool are said to be confident of securing Origi's signature after agreeing a deal in the region of £10m with Lille.
