Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly edged a step closer to completing the signing of USA international DeAndre Yedlin.
The Seattle Sounders defender is believed to be attracting interest from a number of clubs following his eye-catching displays at the World Cup in Brazil.
According to Goal.com, the deal to bring Yedlin to the Premier League is close to being finalised after Spurs agreed a £2m fee with the Sounders.
However, the 21-year-old is expected to remain with his current club until the end of the MLS season in January before returning to provide competition for Kyle Walker.
Reports had suggested that Roma were leading the chase for Yedlin before Tottenham entered the race.
