Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered the race to sign out-of-favour Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri in January.
The Switzerland international, 23, has found first-team opportunities limited at the Allianz Arena since joining from Basel two years ago, starting just 26 Bundesliga games in total.
Speculation is rife that Juventus are poised to renew their interest in the winter transfer window after nearly signing him in the summer.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs will challenge the Italian giants for his signature. Shaqiri, whose Bayern contract expires in 2016, has previously also been linked with Liverpool.
