Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen could be the subject of a summer move from Roma.
Vertonghen has established himself as one of the most highly-rated defenders in the Premier League since leaving Ajax for White Hart Lane in 2012, making 75 appearances in all competitions for the English side.
However, with Spurs not guaranteed a place in next season's Champions League, the Belgian international has refused to commit his future to Tim Sherwood's team, and according to talkSPORT, Roma have taken notice.
The Italian outfit currently sit in second position in Serie A, and with Champions League qualification almost assured, Roma have started planning for next season.
It is likely to take a significant offer for Spurs to consider selling the 26-year-old, but failure to qualify for Europe's premier competition for a third straight year could potentially force a sale.
