Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro believes that the addition of Paulinho will make the club "stronger" next season.

The 24-year-old is expected to complete a move to White Hart Lane after he confirmed that he was leaving to join Andre Villas-Boas's side.

Sandro told Globo Esporte: "I think he has what it takes to do well here. This is a club with a great structure.

"It has been fighting for the top positions in the last few years and playing in European competitions. Paulinho will certainly help us become even stronger."

Sandro made 27 appearances for Spurs last season, as they finished fifth in the Premier League.
