Tottenham Hotspur close in on Ebbsfleet prospect Shilow Tracey

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of signing highly-rated teenager Shilow Tracey from Ebbsfleet.

Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly closed in on the signing of Ebbsfleet teenager Shilow Tracey.

According to PA, the two clubs are close to agreeing a deal which would see the 17-year-old join Spurs' academy.

Tracey was first invited for a trial with Spurs in October and then travelled with the North London side's Under-18s to play at the IMG Cup in Florida last month.

Tracey, who has only featured once for Ebbsfleet's first team, is said to be comfortable playing either in central midfield or further forward behind a striker.
