Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering making an approach for Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard during the summer transfer window.

Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are currently well-stocked for central defenders, with Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Juan Foyth and Eric Dier all capable of featuring in the position.

However, according to Bild, Spurs have started to scout Pavard, who has starred for Stuttgart in the top two tiers of German football over the past 18 months.

In total, Pavard has made 48 appearances since signing from Lille in August 2016, while the 21-year-old has already won two caps for France.

The report claims that Pavard - whose contract does not expire until 2021 - could cost in the region of £11m.
