Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly grown increasingly frustrated in their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon right-back Pedro Porro.
The North Londoners recently reinforced their attack with the addition of Arnaut Danjuma, who has joined the club on loan from Villarreal for the rest of the season.
Antonio Conte is now keen to strengthen his options at right wing-back despite already having Emerson Royal, Matt Doherty and Djed Spence among his ranks.
Throughout the January window, Spurs have been strongly linked with a move for Porro, who has a €45m (£39.5m) release clause in his contract.
A recent report claims that Tottenham are willing to meet the Primeira Liga club's financial demands and are pushing to finalise the deal before the winter window shuts next Tuesday.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Sporting are reluctant to part ways with the Spaniard midway through the season.
The report adds that Sporting may insist during negotiations that Spurs must pay Porro's release clause in full, with the North Londoners preferring to spread the payment.
Porro, who is under contract at the Estadio Jose Alvalade until June 2025, began on the substitutes' bench for Sporting's 2-1 win against Arouca in the Taca da Liga on Tuesday and eventually came on for the final 13 minutes.
The attack-minded full-back initially joined Sporting in August 2020 on a two-year loan deal from Manchester City before making his move to the Portuguese giants permanent in May.

Porro has since established himself as a key player under Ruben Amorim, contributing with 12 goals and 20 assists in 97 appearances across all competitions.
The Spaniard did not make a single appearance during his three-year stint at Man City, but the reigning Premier League champions could make an £11.7m profit should Spurs sign the defender, as they possess a 30% sell-on clause.
Although Sporting are keen to keep hold of Porro this month, the Portuguese club are understood to have identified Brighton & Hove Albion's Tariq Lamptey as a potential replacement.
Sky Sports News claims that Sporting are interested in the 22-year-old, who has started only one of his 16 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls so far this season.
