Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to reward the form of Andros Townsend by offering him a new deal worth £2m per year.
The 22-year-old has started the new Premier League campaign in brilliant form, which has earned him a call-up to the England national team.
His goal in the midweek victory over Montenegro helped Roy Hodgson's men to the brink of qualification to next year's World Cup in Brazil.
Townsend is believed to earn around £10,000 per week, but The Mirror reports that the North London club are preparing a new contract that would tie him to White Hart Lane for another five years.
