Everton manager David Moyes has admitted that any discussions over a potential permanent switch for Steven Pienaar will not take place until the end of the season.
The South African international returned to Goodison Park for a second spell in January on a loan basis from Tottenham Hotspur.
Pienaar has impressed since rejoining the club but Moyes has revealed that talks must wait over any extension for the 30-year-old.
"You're probably going to ask me at every press conference and I'm going to give the same answer," Moyes told reporters.
"I genuinely don't think anything will be even talked about until after the end of the season."
Pienaar claimed three assists during Everton's 4-0 win over Fulham yesterday afternoon.
