Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly 'tracking' Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo with the view to a potential move for the Italy international at some stage in the future.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for his Serie A club during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing eight goals and two assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
Zaniolo has a contract in Rome until June 2024, but the speculation surrounding his future has gathered pace ahead of the opening of this summer's transfer window.
According to The Guardian, Spurs are interested in the midfielder, with the London club's hierarchy viewing him as a 'considerable prospect' capable of thriving in the Premier League.
However, the report claims that Jose Mourinho's side are unlikely to attempt to sign the Italian during the upcoming market as they have other priorities.
Tottenham are allegedly weighing up an approach for Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez, while Southampton's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also continues to be linked with a summer move.
