Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly instructed scouts to keep a close eye on Besiktas left-back Ridvan Yilmaz.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed an eye-catching Super Lig campaign with the Turkish giants, registering three goals and four assists in 24 top-flight appearances this term.
Yilmaz also made his first appearances in the Champions League group stages against Ajax and Sporting Lisbon earlier this season, and interest in his services is understood to be growing.
According to TRTSpor, Tottenham are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Yilmaz's development, with the youngster currently playing on the left-hand side of a 3-4-3 for Besiktas.
The report adds that Lyon and Atalanta BC are ready to rival Spurs for the signature of Yilmaz, who has less than 18 months left to run on his contract with Besiktas.
Yilmaz has already won the Super Lig, Turkish Cup and Turkish Super Cup with Besiktas and boasts two assists from six caps for the Turkey national team.
