Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has said that he expects to remain at the club, despite speculation linking him with Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old, who featured for Bosnia-Herzegovina at the World Cup in Brazil, is reportedly a target of Real coach Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Begovic has insisted that he is focused on Stoke's preparations for the new season.
"As far as I'm concerned I will [start the season at Stoke]," he told talkSPORT.
"I've obviously just got home from Brazil. My first thoughts are to rest and recuperate and get myself ready for pre-season, which for me starts in three weeks.
"As far as I'm concerned this is where I'll be, this is where I see my future and I'm excited about training in a couple of weeks or so."
Begovic joined Stoke from Portsmouth in 2010.
