Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup insists that it is not the right time to talk about his future at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has played down speculation about his future at the Liberty Stadium by insisting that he is fully focused on the Capital One Cup final.

Laudrup has been linked as a possible replacement for Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, but the former Danish international has refused to be drawn on his future plans.

The 48-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's not the moment to talk about the future. We're days away from one of the biggest games in the history of this club, so to speak about other things would be a little ruthless.

"We don't have to let anything come between us now. We have to focus on this game. Anything else, it's secondary right now."

As well as guiding Swansea to the League Cup final at Wembley, the former Mallorca boss has led the club to eighth place in the Premier League table.
