Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly in talks with Trabzonspor over a free transfer to the Turkish side.
The 29-year-old has been on the lookout for a new club since his Anfield contract officially expired at the end of last month.
Sturridge is banned from playing until July 31 after breaching Football Association betting rules, but he can still sign for a new team.
Aston Villa have been touted as a possible option for the Birmingham-born striker, while Italian side Bologna have also been linked.
According to ESPN, however, Sturridge appears to be on his way to the Super Lig as his representatives have held discussions with Trabzonspor, who finished fourth last season and will compete in this term's Europa League.
Trabzonspor have already snapped up John Obi Mikel this summer following his spell with Middlesbrough.
