Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Javi Guerra will still be joining Cardiff City this summer despite the club's relegation from the Premier League.
The Real Valladolid striker chose to join the Bluebirds back in February by signing a pre-contract agreement.
Cardiff's relegation from the top flight was understood to have put the move in doubt, but Solskjaer insists that the 32-year-old Spaniard will be arriving in the Welsh capital before the new campaign.
"He's still joining us, yes," the Norwegian told Wales Online. "It's a water-tight contract. All the papers are signed.
"He still needs to do his medical, but he will come and do that this month when the Spanish league has finished. That's all sorted though. After that he joins us for pre-season."
Cardiff finished their Premier League campaign on Sunday with a 2-1 defeat at home to Chelsea.
