Sofiane Feghouli has paid tribute to Valencia after leaving the Spanish club to join West Ham United.
The 26-year-old officially signed a three-year contract with the Hammers earlier this week after turning down the chance to sign a new deal with Valencia, where he had spent the last six years.
Feghouli's attitude was called into question during the 2015-16 campaign, but the Algerian has insisted that he always "gave the maximum" for Los Che.
"I leave Valencia with my mind at ease because inside me I know I gave the maximum and I thank the Valencia fans for everything," Feghouli told Fichajes.net.
"I have good memories of my time there and for me it was a great experience, which I really enjoyed. I can't say anything else but positive things about my stay in Spain.
"I went through good times and bad times, but Valencia is a club that allowed me to become a better player and gain experience, especially in European and La Liga games that were played to such a high level."
Feghouli, who started his professional career with Grenoble, has scored 11 times in 40 appearances for Algeria.
