Report: Valencia want Thiago Motta

A report claims that Valencia want to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta, who is out of contract at the end of the current season.

Valencia are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta.

On Tuesday, the 34-year-old admitted that he was unlikely to sign a new contract in Paris, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in the Brazilian, but according to Sport, Valencia head the list and are prepared to wait until next summer to sign the anchorman on a free transfer.

Motta, who has already made 15 appearances for PSG in all competitions this season, has won 13 trophies since joining the French giants from Inter Milan in the summer of 2012.
