Watford are reportedly the latest Premier League club to show interest in Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend.
The 24-year-old joined the Magpies just five months ago from Tottenham Hotspur for a reported £12m fee.
It is believed that Townsend had a £10.5m release clause in his contract, and has reportedly informed manager Rafael Benitez that he wants to exercise it following Newcastle's relegation to the Championship.
According to The Mirror, Watford's new manager Walter Mazzarri is interested in adding Townsend to his team, while West Bromwich Albion, Southampton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are also keeping tabs on the winger.
Before joining Newcastle, Townsend spent seven years on Tottenham's books, but was sent out on loan to nine different clubs, one of which was Watford in 2011.
