Ben Foster has suggested that he would be willing to commit his future to West Bromwich Albion beyond the end of the current season.
The English goalkeeper joined the Baggies on a season-long loan deal from Birmingham City last summer.
Foster has insisted that it would be easier for him to sign on at the Hawthorns on a permanent basis if Birmingham fail to achieve promotion to the Premier League.
"I am enjoying it here," the former Manchester United keeper told the Express & Star. "It was nice to stay in the area and coming to West Brom was a nice way to do that for me.
"[Birmingham are] doing very well in the Championship at the moment and going for promotion and I'm sure a decision will be made at the end of the season.
"Should Birmingham get promotion, I'm sure that would change things a bit, but we'll just have to wait and see."
The 28-year-old has made 27 appearances this season.
