West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen to sign Ipswich Town full-back Aaron Cresswell in January.
Head coach Steve Clarke is believed to have sent his scouts to watch the 23-year-old in recent weeks.
They have been suitably impressed with what they have seen from the defender and Clarke has now decided to submit a bid to the Championship club next month, according to The Mirror.
It is thought that Ipswich value Cresswell, who signed on at Portman Road in 2011 from Tranmere Rovers, at £3m.
