Marko Arnautovic: 'West Ham United deserved more than four goals'

Forward Marko Arnautovic claims that West Ham United should have scored more than four goals against Burnley in Saturday's Premier League clash.

West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has claimed that his side "completely dominated" in their 4-2 victory over Burnley at the London Stadium.

The Hammers were twice pegged back by a stubborn Clarets side, but late goals from Felipe Anderson and Javier Hernandez earned Manuel Pellegrini's team all three points.

Arnautovic was delighted with the win on Saturday afternoon, but the Austria international feels that West Ham should have prevailed by a larger margin.

The 29-year-old is quoted by the club's official website as saying: "I think over the 90 minutes, we completely dominated the game and we could scored more because we created a lot of chances.

"We know Burnley and the only thing they had was the long ball and playing off the second ball and twice we didn't deal with it, but, overall, we played an amazing game. We stayed calm when they equalised at 1-1 and 2-2 and it was not easy, but I think we probably deserved to win.

"It's not easy when you have so many chances and someone keeps lying on the line and they keep saving it. It's getting in your head but you have to stay calm as a forward player and try to finish the game we did it."

West Ham sit in 13th place in the Premier League standings.
