Roberto Martinez will reportedly move for several Wigan Athletic players if he is appointed as Everton boss.
The Spaniard is expected to be announced as the Toffees' new manager after Latics chairman Dave Whelan confirmed that the deal would be concluded soon.
When the 39-year-old arrives at Goodison Park, he will make strides in the transfer market immediately with moves for James McCarthy, Callum McManaman and Antolin Alcaraz, according to The Mirror.
Martinez won the FA Cup with Wigan last season after beating Manchester City in the final, although his side were relegated to the Championship days after their triumph.
