Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Nouha Dicko out for season

Wolverhampton Wanderers reveal that Nouha Dicko has torn his anterior cruciate ligament and will be out for the rest of the season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Nouha Dicko has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2015-16 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The 23-year-old tore his ACL in the second half of Saturday's 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic.

Wolves confirmed on their official Twitter account this afternoon that Dicko would have surgery this week before a lengthy rehabilitation period.

Dicko joined Wolves from Wigan Athletic in January 2014 and has scored 29 goals in 61 appearances for the Black Country club.

Since learning of the injury, Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has put in bids for several strikers but clubs have been "unwilling to sell".
