Kenny Jackett: 'Wolverhampton Wanderers must do basics right'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett believes that his side need to "roll their sleeves up" to try to improve their recent poor form.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has backed his side to 'get back to basics' when they host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Last weekend's 4-0 defeat at Brentford made it four losses in a row for the West Midlands outfit, and Jackett has acknowledged that his players need to display more fight if they are to halt their recent slump.

The 52-year-old told reporters: "We have needed to roll our sleeves up, battle, and recognise what is going wrong. It is about making sure that by the time next Saturday comes, we do the basics a lot better than we have.

"We are going to come out fighting and make sure we do that against Bournemouth at home."

Wolves, who occupied a top-three spot at the start of November, now sit in 12th in the Championship standings.
