Kenny Jackett: "We deserved nothing"

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett admits that his side deserved nothing in their 3-0 loss at Brentford on Tuesday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has admitted that his side "deserved nothing" from their 3-0 loss to Brentford on Tuesday night.

The defeat extended the Midlands side's winless run to seven league games and left them stuck at 15th in the Championship table.

"First and foremost, it hurts, it's hard to take," Jackett told Wolves Player afterwards. "In the end it was a comfortable win for Brentford, which was very disappointing.

"We've got negative momentum. We looked brittle at the back and as a side quite open, and open to the counter, and deservedly got nothing out of the game. It's been a rotten run and tonight was a disappointment. The confidence drained out of us as the game wore on. We didn't deserve anything out of the game.

"For my own future, that's for other people to decide. I'm determined, I'm confident of myself, I work away and try to come up with that winning formula, because we're not getting it at the moment. I wouldn't say the players didn't commit to it enough."

Wolves next welcome promotion chasers Derby County to Molineux on Saturday.
