Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder David Edwards has revealed that he hasn't spoken to the club about signing a new contract at Molineux.
Edwards has enjoyed a superb campaign with the League One champions, but despite his existing deal expiring in the summer, the Welsh international has admitted that he is still awaiting discussions with the club over extending his stay in the West Midlands.
The 28-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "Hopefully it won't be the last time that I pull on a Wolves shirt.
"I haven't heard anything yet from the club. I really hope that it's not the final time but if it is, what a great way to go out."
Edwards, who has scored nine times in 31 appearances this season, signed for Wolves in 2008.
