Wolverhampton Wanderers could raise over £27m from selling two players during the January transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will almost certainly be active during the January transfer window having failed to sign a new central midfielder during the summer.

Reports persist that Lille's Renato Sanches remains on their radar, a player who will cost in excess of £20m if he is to make the switch to Molineux.

At a time when he is spending time out of the starting lineup and has not penned a new contract, Adama Traore is increasingly likely to be sold during one of the next two transfer windows.

Aware that his value is not as high as it once was, Wolves may be prepared to part ways with the Spain international at the turn of the year, potentially for £27m if his price-tag on Transfermarkt proves to be correct.

With Wolves well stocked for options in the wing-back positions, there is little reason for Oskur Burr Rasmussen to continue at the Premier League outfit if he receives an attractive offer in January.

The 23-year-old, who has a contract until 2023, has not appeared in the Wolves first team since the EFL Cup defeat to Stoke City 14 months ago.

Transfermarkt value Rasmussen at just £270,000.
